Letting Go and Falling Forward

"Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower." — Albert Camus

As autumn unfolds, the air sharpens, the leaves blaze and then release, and we’re invited to notice the gentle wisdom of the transition of seasons: everything has its time. Summer’s vitality has run its course, and now nature reminds us of the beauty and necessity of letting go.

In our lives and practices, this is also a natural moment to pause, to reflect, and to ask: What is it time to let go of? A habit that drains you? A role you’ve outgrown? A narrative about yourself that no longer serves? Just as trees shed leaves to prepare for winter’s dormancy and spring’s renewal, we too create space for growth by releasing what weighs us down.

That’s the heart of the PRx90 Process—checking in for “up to 90 minutes” every 90 days with yourself and your PeerRx partner. These intentional check-ins help us harvest what’s been fruitful, prune what no longer matters, and reset for what lies ahead. If you haven’t already, it’s time to schedule that fall conversation.

To spark reflection, consider these questions for yourself and your PeerRx partner:

  • What have I learned about myself over the past 90 days?

  • What do I most want to carry forward into the next season?

  • What will I be disappointed not to accomplish before year’s end?

  • What is it time to let go of?

  • Where can I find joy, rest, or beauty in this season?

As you lean into this quarter’s check-in, remember: letting go isn’t a loss—it’s a gift of freedom. Just as autumn trees trust the cycle, you can trust that what you release creates room for clarity, energy, and renewal. By choosing to pause and recalibrate, you’re not falling behind; you’re falling forward.
